Ish has been delighting audiences for years and has a genuine way of relating to young and old alike. Composing on guitar, mandolin, harmonica and melodica, Ish's style is best classified as a combination of imaginative and thoughtfully conceived storytelling lyrics played in a folk, blues, bluegrass and country genre.
Whether Ish is performing as a Solo Artist or together with his Musical Friends in a Duo, Trio or Quartet format; his Family Friendly Concerts are always engaging for young and old alike and encompass the merging of several wonderful musical styles while bringing to focus his delightful sense of humor and warmth and positive themes we all can relate to.
Ish's Concerts draw on his extensive repertoire of self penned songs and off the wall stories that appeal to young and old alike that feature songs from his two highly interactive CD's for Children and the Families entitled, Cardboard Wings & Never Say Never.
Ish has also released two wonderful "Roots" CD's for Grown-ups that appeals joyfully to "All Ages" entitled, Go West on 17 and soon to be released in February 2105, Up Fish Creek.
Throughout the years Ish has toured across Canada from the Arctic to the east and west coast and everywhere in between sharing his joy for music and laughter and getting everyone involved.
He has performed at more than 4,000 family friendly events that range from: Children’s, Folk & Community Festivals, Country Fairs, Schools, Libraries, Daycare's, Community Theaters, Seniors Centers, Hospitals, Variety Shows to House Concerts and Special Events.

Although best known as a Children's and Family Entertainer, Ish also enjoys writing and sharing his songs and stories about his many experiences and observations from a grown-up point of view and in 2009 he released his debut CD, Go West On 17 .
